We appreciate your interest in becoming a vendor at Melanin Market Omaha! Our marketplace celebrates and empowers BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) entrepreneurs while fostering community connections. Before you apply, please take a moment to review our mission and vendor requirements outlined below.

Melanin Market Omaha aims to create a vibrant marketplace that goes beyond commerce, serving as a platform where minority-owned businesses thrive, voices are amplified, and impactful organizations dedicated to serving minority populations are spotlighted. We are committed to promoting economic empowerment, cultural enrichment, and mutual support within our community.

Vendor Requirements:

  • All business owners applying to be vendors at Melanin Market Omaha MUST identify as BIPOC.

  • We seek vendors who offer unique products or services that contribute to the diversity of offerings in the market.

  • Non-profit organizations applying as vendors must have a mission statement or charitable programs that predominantly serve and empower minority communities.

2025 Vendor Pricing:

  • Non-profit organizations: $150

  • Small businesses: $175

  • Food trucks: $250

 

*Due to the volume of applications received, please understand that not all applicants will be selected as vendors. Our selection process is based on various factors, including alignment with our mission, the uniqueness of products/services, and available booth space. We appreciate your understanding and encourage all interested applicants to apply. Together, we can create a marketplace that celebrates diversity, supports BIPOC entrepreneurs, and strengthens our community.
